HEC Unveils Software Subscription for Designing, Validating Reverse-Flow Cyclones

Heumann Environmental Company LLC (HEC) launches its HECyclone secure cloud-based software service that empowers customers to design and build reverse-flow cyclones for industrial processes and pollution control applications.

The 24/7 High Efficiency Cyclone Calculator subscription service is accessible globally and permits users to develop and own an unlimited number of cyclones and unique specifications. Customer-created designs are password-protected, and work can be copied or cloned to jumpstart new projects. Optional add-ons expand functionality, and three pricing packages are available.

HECyclone provides precise cyclone performance modeling--from the prediction of cyclone pressure drop to quantifying the impact that dimensional changes can have on the separation efficiency over the full range of particulate sizes to calculating overall total collection efficiency from a known particulate size distribution.

The software is based on decades of HEC expertise in designing and building cyclones across the petrochemical, pharmaceutical, and many other industries.
