Toll blending, compounding, and packaging solutions provider Wertrauen Chemie Solutions (VCS) signed an agreement with chemicals firm BASF to open a storage location for manufacturing material used and a finished products distribution center to support BASF’s Dispersions and Resins business at VCS’ Memphis, TN facility.

“The additional storage and re-packaging services provided by VCS will improve our aliphatic isocyanate supply chain and deliver additional benefits to our customers,” Vuk Milojkovik, business director, Automotive and Industrial Coatings, BASF Dispersion and Resins, North America said in a company release. “This facility allows us to reinforce our commitment to meet the growing needs of customers and deliver products on time.”

The companies recently signed an agreement to expand their partnership. Once the new locations become operational, BASF’s customers will be able to receive shipments of customized packaging across the US within five business days.

“VCS will continue to support BASF enhancing their supply position and to provide outstanding customer service and technical expertise to create further opportunities,” said VCS Chief Executive Officer John Jamieson in a statement.
