Owens Corning Closes Acquisition of Natural Polymers

The Cortland, IL-based firm manufactures spray polyurethane foam insulation used in building and construction applciations.

Building and construction materials supplier Owens Corning closed its purchase of Cortland, IL-based spray polyurethane foam insulation manufacturer Natural Polymers LLC, a company release announced this week. The products are used in building and construction applications.

“We are excited to welcome the Natural Polymers team and start working together on innovative product development,” said Todd Fister, president, Insulation for Owens Corning, in a release. “Natural Polymers’ proven technology advances our strategy to provide long-term, sustainable solutions and offer our customers a diversified insulation product portfolio”

The company said it anticipates growth in the newly-acquired business over the next few years. Natural Polymers produces some of the lowest-volatile organic compound products available in the spray foam industry.
