The Model CVT-P 10 is a miniature vibrator made of acetal plastic. It can be used as a replacement for the VM-25 model when the environment warrants the use of a material compliant with FDA standards or for other applications. Acetal is a high-strength, low-friction plastic that has excellent wear properties in wet and dry environments. Being much quieter than the air-piston miniature VM 25, it can be used where noise may be a factor. It uses less air and produces more force. The operating range is 5–80 psi.

pbs0802p28b.jpgBulk Vibrators and Drives
A full line of heavy-duty air-powered-piston and rotary-electric vibrators and drives is designed for bins, hoppers, chutes, screeners, vibratory feeders, conveyors, tables, and other vibratory applications. All provide continuous maximum-force operation—from 30 lb to more than 40,000 lb. Dust-tight, splashproof motors provide high field performance in harsh environments including dirt, rain, and snow. Heavy-duty construction—including ductile-iron castings, steel end covers, and high-alloy fasteners—ensures long life. Motors are available in 3600-, 1200-, and 900-rpm models, from 1/50th to 17½ horsepower. All units can be mounted horizontally or vertically.

This 110-V electric rotary vibrator is ideal for discharge applications on small bins, hoppers, storage vessels, pipes, and chutes. Electromechanical vibratory drives are completely sealed for dust-tight operation. The drives run quietly to help meet noise-level regulations and require no lubrication, making them virtually maintenance free. The vibrator is as quiet as a standard ac motor and features shock-resistant epoxy coated windings and permanently sealed high-capacity bearings that require no lubrication. The unit is sealed with silicone to keep out contaminants and protect against damage. Flyweights are easily adjustable without special tools.

pbs0802p28d.jpgImpactors
PKL Interval impactors generate individual blows similar to a hammer. The impact provides high acceleration and the exact force required to move sticky or clinging materials from storage vessel walls. The impacts per minute are variable between 10 and 60, without the use of a timing device. The controllability of the units ensures the right force to do the job, reducing noise, energy costs, and bin damage.
