A second rotor has been added to the PMV modular rotary valve to give it self-cleaning capability. The PMDS double rotor valve is synchronized and gear-driven to scrape clean the rounded pockets on the primary rotor on each revolution. As with the company’s other rotary valves, the PMDS double rotor valve is precisely engineered with modular construction that makes it quicker and easier to maintain and service than valves with cast housings. The PMDS can be manufactured in severe-duty (500 Brinell alloy) or ultra-duty (ion-nitrided) versions and is machined to tight-tolerances and high-quality standards.
