On Wednesday, May 1, 2024, at 2 p.m. Eastern/11 a.m. Pacific, Josh Marion, senior project engineer, Jenike & Johanson, will present “At the End of the Line: Feeding and Filtration In Pneumatic Conveying Applications” as part of Powder & Bulk Solids' DryPro webinar series.

In this webinar, Marion will discuss what to do at the “ends of the line” in pneumatic conveying systems - both the feed end and the discharge end. He will cover considerations and various technologies for reliably feeding your material into a pneumatic conveying line, as well as how to effectively filter the solids out of the conveying gas (e.g., in a cyclone or a baghouse) at the end of the line.

In his 10 years at Jenike, Marion has worked on hundreds of projects across all manufacturing industries for designing new bulk solids handling, storage, and conveying systems, and developing customized retrofit modifications for existing installations to ensure reliable material flow and transport.

Marion received his B.S. and M.S. in Chemical Engineering from Northeastern University in Boston.
