Parallel Bore Rotary Airlock
The MSRP Series parallel bore rotary airlock is designed so that the maximum number of blades remain in contact with the body at one time without affecting throughput. The substantial throat opening at valve entry allows high pocket filling efficiency. There is minimum clearance at rotor tips and sides with body. Robust body construction prevents distortion. Sizes range from 6 to 16 in. with square or round flange patterns. The valve is suitable for operation up to 750ºF and conveying pressures of 20 psi. Air-Vey Magnets
Air-Vey magnets are designed to remove ferrous contaminants from products in dilute-phase pneumatic conveying systems operating at 15 psi or less. These units are used to ensure product purity and protect process equipment. The flow-through area of the housing is engineered to maintain the same product velocity with no appreciable drop in pressure. The magnets install easily in horizontal, vertical, or angled positions with compression type couplings or weld in place. Inside the stainless steel housing is a powerful cylindrical shaped magnet with a cone-shaped nose. As material enters the housing, the nose cone diverts the material around the cylindrical magnet where it passes through the magnetic field and ferrous contaminants are drawn to the magnetic surface. Ferrous contaminants are safely held in place as the cleaned product exits out the opposite end of the housing. To clean captured ferrous contaminants remove the access door from the housing by opening the latches. Puritan Magnetics Inc., Oxford, MI 248-628-3808 www.puritanmagnetics.com

High-Capacity Conveying
The DPG-B Series gravity-loaded bottom-discharge dense-phase conveyors are ideal for moving powdered, granular, or pelletized friable and abrasive materials. They are rated up to 100+ TPH and provide high material-to-air ratios and low line velocities, resulting in smaller line sizes, lower air consumption, reduced dust collection, and lower capital investment and operating costs. Abrasive wear and particle degradation are also minimized. Cyclonaire Corp., York, NE 888-593-6241 www.cyclonaire.com

Vacuum Conveyors
Multijector vacuum conveyors safely transport powders, granules, pellets, capsules, tablets, and other bulk materials under vacuum to supply packaging lines, mixers, filling machines, tablet presses, or any other kind of process equipment or container on demand. These conveyors work seamlessly with manual suction, feeding hoppers, bag rip and tip stations, or bulk-loading devices transferring to several filling machines or feeding raw materials from various locations to load one central mixer. The all stainless steel construction and no tools disassembly make them a natural choice for multiple product changeovers where ease of cleaning is required. These ATEX-certified units can be used for potential explosion-proof areas. Volkmann Inc., Hainesport, NJ 609-265-0101 www.volkmannusa.com

Four-Way Wye Line Diverter
The patented Quantum Series 4-Way Wye Line Diverter is specifically engineered to handle dry bulk solids in pneumatic conveying systems. The diverter can direct dry bulk material from one source to four destinations, or converge from four sources to one destination. Precision laser cutting and bending technology is used. It provides several advantages over traditional flapper and rotating tunnel style diverters and eliminates trouble spots in conventional diverters. Low-Energy Airlocks
MPSH, MPSJ, and MPSN airlocks offer a wide range of applications. The robust design and workmanship of the airlocks improve operating reliability and reduce running costs. Key features include: low energy consumption; elimination of chain re-lubrication; consistent air pressure due to the minimal clearance between the rotor and the housing; uniform bearings and seals for each size of airlock; maximum pressure differential of 1.5 bar. Pneumatic Line Equipment
This pneumatic line housing (PLH) design bucks the industry trend of a single, center-flow cartridge circuit. The PLH incorporates a series of 1-in.-diam 50 MGOe rare earth tubes on staggered centers, which ensures that all product has repeated contact with the magnets. The holding strength of the Bullet magnet is improved with its newly introduced stripper collar that is used to wipe metal contamination from the magnet. This addition has increased the ability to capture and hold metal fines and weakly magnetic steel by almost 30%. The Exposed Pole Tube is designed to improve product purity by capturing both large ferrous metal contaminants and small, weakly magnetic fines. It is intended for use where product degradation or fibrous materials are being conveyed, since the magnetic circuit does not impede product flow. ECO Phase Conveying
ECO phase is a new design that improves the way material and air interact in the initial starting point of a pneumatic conveying system. This patent-pending process provides the efficiency, velocity, and transfer rates of a dense-phase system, yet can provide material on a continuous basis like a dilute-phase system, and uses a standard PD blower package to deliver energy cost savings when compared to the two traditional types of pneumatic conveying. Pneumatic Bulk Bag Discharging System
This skid-mounted bulk bag discharging system with positive pressure pneumatic conveying system transfers material from bulk bags to silos and other bulk storage facilities on islands or other locations unable to receive large volumes of bulk material by rail or truck. A cantilevered I-beam with electric hoist and trolley lifts and positions bulk bags. A Spout-Lock clamp ring forms a seal between the bag spout and the equipment, while a Tele-Tube telescoping tube maintains downward pressure on the clamp ring and bag spout, elongating the bag as it empties/elongates to promote complete discharge. Side-Entry Rotary Airlock Valve
The side-entry rotary airlock valve is used in applications where product shearing is a concern. The valve name derives from the offset inlet and outlet flanges, where the product enters the side of the rotor instead of the top. On a normal valve, shearing takes place as the rotor rotates into the housing. When these two straight edges meet on a typical drop thru rotary airlock, this provides a pinch area where the product can shear and/or jam. With the side-entry rotary airlock, the product is caught on the upswing of the rotor blades so that the product is constantly falling away from the shear point. The rotor pockets also do not fill up as completely, additionally reducing the likelihood of shearing. Lastly, the throat has a V shape that helps push product out of the way. Sizes range from 6-20 in. Carolina Conveying Inc., Canton, NC 828-235-1005 www.carolinaconveying.com
