Very often, existing pneumatic conveying systems are working fine, doing what it was they were originally designed to do.  However, there are times when an existing system has been identified to be a bottleneck to changes in the upstream and/or the downstream processes.

One solution is to simply specify a new system, make the equipment purchase, complete the re-engineering and installation.

Another approach is to evaluate what is existing, define what is required and apply some of the academic and field proven aspects of pneumatic conveying and auxiliary components we have learned over the years to implement a debottlenecking approach which saves time, money, resources and in many cases can reduce the energy consumption of the solids handling systems in a plant. This webinar will discuss a refresher in the available techniques of debottlenecking existing pneumatic conveying systems, how and when debottlenecking techniques can be implemented to mitigate the need for a new replacement systems and equipment. This webinar will cover specific examples of extending the conveying distance, changing the materials being conveyed,  and increasing capacity will be presented
