These loss-in-weight vibratory feeders utilize a vibratory drive featuring patented resonant frequency technology, assuring more precise control of material flow. The vibratory feeder offers an easy-to-clean design suitable for food and pharmaceutical ingredient feeding applications, and 3-l inlet funnel transition hopper designed at a 65-degree slope for optimal flowability into the vibratory tray. The 20-l extension hopper offers an optional lid along with an inlet tri-clamp and sanitary flexible bellows for complete isolation of the feeder. The specialty vibratory feeding principle, coupled with K-Tron’s patented load cells and KCM controller, ensure high accuracy feeding for even the most difficult flowing products. This feeder is ideal for continuous pharmaceutical operations, such as continuous extrusion, granulation, mixing, and coating. Typical applications include vibratory feeding of cohesive APIs that normally would build up when fed via standard twin screw configurations.
