According to the Tempe Fire Department, a woman was on top of a silo at Mission Foods in Tempe, AZ, on Wednesday.

AZ Central news reported that crews from Tempe Fire Medical Rescue, Phoenix Fire Department, and Chandler Fire Department responded to the scene and learned of a possible heat-related incident involving a woman on top of a silo, according to Andrea Glass, assistant chief of Community Risk Reduction for Tempe Fire Medical Rescue Department.

Rescue crews set up an aerial ladder, secured the person into a basket, and safely removed her from the silo. She was hoisted to the ground and taken to a hospital for further evaluation.

No other details have been provided.

It was not immediately clear why the woman was on top of the silo or if she was an employee of the business.

Mission Foods manufactures flour and corn tortillas, salsas, tortilla chips, flatbreads, wraps, and chicharrones.
