Kansas State University’s Bulk Solids Technology Center has announced its new location at the K-State Olathe campus in greater Kansas City. This is a key part of K-State’s emphasis on Advanced Manufacturing.  In addition to a new location and name, KSU-BSTC's new website describes the Center’s courses and capabilities.

K-State also is hiring a director for its Advanced Manufacturing Bulk Solids Technology Center. This position will be responsible for the overall leadership and management of the center’s research and training programs.  Interested persons are encouraged to learn more and apply.

Bulk Solids short-courses for industry personnel are now being held at K-State Olathe.  Upcoming courses include Basic Pneumatic Conveying in March, Advanced Pneumatic Conveying in April, and Bulk Solids Processing in May.

Kansas State University’s Bulk Solids Technology Center specializes in powder and bulk solids materials testing, education, and research on powders and dry bulk materials. It is the only university-based facility and staff in North America dedicated to helping industry with bulk solids technology and education. Its strengths include education classes, material testing, research, and consulting projects for powder and bulk solids handling and processing.
