Beumer Group Grows Presence in Canada

Beumer Group, a global supplier of automated material handling systems, has extended its North America hub with the assimilation of the former FAM operations in Calgary, Alberta, CAN. The move follows the acquisition of FAM Minerals & Mining GmbH in June 2022.

“FAM has built a strong reputation within the global mining and minerals industry on which we will build to expand business across North America. At the same time, we have now formed a strong company in Canada to further expand our business not only in the Mineral & Mining field but also in Airports, Logistics Solutions, Products and Customer Support. Following the acquisition of FAM last year, we have been working closely with the team in Canada to improve our customer reach," said Markus Schmidt, CEO of Beumer.

Now known as Beumer Group Canada, the former FAM has become an integral part of Beumer family. With the much stronger emerging organization in Canada Beumer will offer its full range of automated material handling solutions and services. This milestone demonstrates the company's long-term commitment to Canada’s customers and represents a significant investment into the region.
