Tripper Discharges for Overhead Belt Conveyors

Filling material bins more evenly and completely from an overhead belt conveyor is simplified with tripper-style discharges. A gravity tripper and powered tripper are available. Gravity tripper models include 1-, 2-, and 3-way. The 3-way tripper pictured can distribute material to the right, left, or back onto the belt for discharge off the end of conveyor. The powered tripper, named Tripslinger, is a good choice when low positioning of the conveyor makes throwing material forward and back a necessity to fill bins. Trippers are available in mild or stainless steel, sized for up to 48-in-wide belts. PVC tri-rollers minimize friction, powered required and energy costs (standard on 18-24-in. belt widths). CEMA-rated troughing rollers can be substituted on 24-in. belt widths and are standard on larger widths up to 48 in.
