Cosmetics company Mary Kay Inc. announced plans Thursday to build a new $100 million manufacturing and research and development facility in Lewisville, TX.

The global company expects to break ground on the 26.2 acre plot this September, Mary Kay said in a press release, with an anticipated completion date of the 470,000 sq ft facility in the first quarter of 2018.

“This state-of-the-art facility is being specifically designed and built to meet not only today’s, but tomorrow’s, challenges to ensure the future of Mary Kay in an ever-growing and changing global market place. I am extremely proud of our commitment to Texas and to remain competitive with ‘Made in America,’” said Thomas Cho, chief supply chain officer of Mary Kay, in a statement.

The company identified the site last November. Jacobs Engineering is set to design the building and Beck Construction is slated as the projects general contractor.
