Food Processing Equipment Maker Reiser Expanding Facility

Food processing and packaging equipment maker Reiser has begun construction on a new 46,000-sq-ft addition to its Canton, MA headquarters, multiple news organizations reported Monday.

“The expansion of our Canton facility reflects the continued growth of Reiser and the many services we provide our customers,” said Reiser vice president of strategic business development John McIsaac in a statement. “The additional space will allow us to take even better care of our food processing and packaging customers and fulfill our ongoing commitment of providing them with the highest quality equipment, service, support, and training.”

The size of the facility will increase by about 70%, the company said. The Reiser Customer Center, a part of the facility where customers can test production processes and develop new products in conditions that mimic those of food plants, will double in size.

Reiser produces a variety of food processing equipment and packaging solutions, from grinders and cutting equipment to seal packaging machines.
