Level Measurement Transmitter

The Universal IV is a fourth generation Radio Frequency (RF) admittance/capacitance continuous level measurement transmitter. The versatile Universal IV offers a wide range of features and options and is ideally suited for the most common to the most challenging level measurement applications. The instrument offers worldwide approval, including FM, FMc, ATEX, IECEx, and CE Mark. It is intrinsically safe, explosion proof, and flameproof for Class 1 Div 1 Zone 0 hazardous locations. It features stable, repeatable, and accurate measurement within 0.25% of range and a user friendly push-button LCD display for configuration and monitoring. The 2-wire, 4-20mA loop transmitter features the widely accepted digital HART protocol as well as the proven Cote-Shield technology that ignores coating buildup on the probe. The Universal IV is immune to vapor, dust, and foam interference as well as tank obstructions such as nozzles, ladders, pipes, and agitators.
