REMBE Invests $3.4M to Open New US Facility

Explosion protection and process safety solutions firm REMBE GmbH is investing over $3.4 million to construct a new facility in Indian Land, that will serve as the home office of its North American subsidiary REMBE Inc. and contain its sales, light manufacturing assembly, and warehousing operations, the company announced Monday. 

“I know I speak for our team when I say that we are very excited to be taking the next steps to firmly establishing REMBE Inc. as a US-based, full service combustible dust explosion safety organization,” REMBE Inc. President and Chief Executive Officer Dr. Gerd Mayer said in a South Carolina Dept. of Commerce press release.

REMBE Inc. specializes in explosion protection and pressure relief for a range of industries. The firm offers high-quality venting, explosion protection, venting pressure, vacuum relief, and safety consulting solutions for manufacturing operations, including grain, sugar, wood, and metal-related processes. 

The new facility is slated to open in Bailes Ridge Corporate Park in December. REMBE Inc. is currently based out of Charlotte, NC.
