PTX South America Set for August

Expecting more than 50 exhibitors, occupying close to 3500 square meters, and more than 15,000 visitors from Brazil and abroad, the second edition of PTX South America will be held August 6-08, 2013, at the Expo Center Norte, in São Paulo. It will take place parallel to FISA and CPhI South America, that combined expect 500 exhibitors and represent two high-value markets for the segment that are also big potential equipment buyers.
    PTX South America is settled in Latin America and becomes the international meeting place for the powder technology segment presenting increasingly positive growth rates. Market-leading companies like Dynamic Air, GEA, Wam, Nederman, Harver & Boecker Solberg, Görgens, Hosokawa, BS&B, Velki, among others, have already confirmed their participation, to help increase exhibiiton space by 120% from 2012.
    Aimed at professionals in the areas of engineering, research and development, projects, logistics, and quality control, PTX South America is visited by a diversified audience, among which we can highlight: the food industry, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, agricultural, and chemical, as well as the metal, plastic, cement, paints, and mining industries.
    The event also counts on the partnership of influential associations such as ABNT, ABEQ, ABIAM, ABIFINA, ABIVIDRO, and FEDERASUR, which strengthens the importance of the event and the development of industries such as, construction, cargo shipping, logistics and international trade, agricultural production, medical equipments project and manufacture, embedded systems, shipbuilding and offshore, pharmaceutical ingredients, food ingredients, nutraceutical products and ingredients.
    PTX South America will be co-produced by UBM Canon, organizer of International Powder and Bulk Solids, which has been held in Rosemont (Chicago) for more than 35 years, and also PTX Canada, PTX Montreal, and PTX Texas. UBM Canon will work in partnership with its sister company UBM Brazil
