POWTECH, the International Trade Fair for mechanical processing technologies and instrumentation, opening today, April 23, and running through April 25, again takes place in the Exhibition Centre Nuremberg. A leading event for powder, granule, and bulk solids technologies, it offers more than 700 exhibitors from 27 countries, over more than 22,000 square meters.

“The steady figures for exhibitors show the great importance of our trade fair for the international powder and bulk solids processing industry,” said Willy Viethen, director exhibitions at NürnbergMesse. “We are very pleased with POWTECH’s development. The exhibition is positioned excellently despite the strained economic situation of the past months.”

This year’s trade fair again reflects the entire spectrum of mechanical processes at the highest technological level. Process technologists will find a comprehensive overview of the new products for size reduction, screening, mixing, conveying, dosing, and granulating. Another 235 exhibitors at the parallel TechnoPharm supplement the range of products with the latest process technologies for sterile production.

Thirty-five per cent of the companies are international. The exhibitors represent 27 countries this year. The leading exhibiting nations after Germany are Italy, Great Britain, Switzerland, Austria, and the U.S.
