The Pallmann Group, a producer of size reduction technology, announced three new appointments today, linking the new hires to growing business in North and South America.

Mauro Gama, who has served as Pallmann’s chief financial officer since January 2014, was appointed managing director for Pallmann do Brazil in São Paulo. In this capacity, Gama, a Brazilian citizen, will be responsible for the company’s production and tool processing facilities in Diadema, São Paulo, as well as its sales and service operations throughout Brazil.

The company seeks to expand its activities throughout South America, Pallmann senior executive vice president Rolf Gren said, and the continent “figures strongly” in Pallmann’s strategy.

Gama worked for multinational companies in Europe and South America, before becoming director of the Federation of Industries of the State of São Paulo (FIESP) in 2009. He joined Pallmann about two years ago.

In the US, Pallmann brought on John R. Crowley IV, a managing director of Eldan Inc.’s North American subsidiary for the past 10 years, as sales director for the Rubber Recycling Div. based in Clifton, NJ. Before Crowley’s tenure at Eldan Inc., he worked as director of sales and marketing for Texas-based Granutech Saturn Systems Inc.

Pallmann Industries’ process division, also based in Clifton, NJ, hired Simon Howard as sales manager.

“The Process Division is one the fastest-growing parts of the Pallmann Group,” Gren said, “and we are now in the position to strengthen our customer penetration in Americas.”

Howard worked previously for Telford, PA-based Fluid Energy Processing & Equipment Co., where he served as sales manager of the equipment division. He worked for 16 years at Kemutec Group in the UK and US in a variety of engineering, sales, operations, and other roles.
