Citing its overestimation of middle class growth, Nestlé is cutting 15 percent of its workforce in Africa.
Nestlé has roughly 11,000 employees in Africa, with the equatorial Africa region encompassing 21 countries, including Kenya and Angola.
Nestlé has invested close to $1 billion in Africa in the last decade, and employs more than 3000 people in what is considered Africa's most advanced economy.
