Kraft Heinz Co. is considering closing three upstate NY plants in a move to cut costs.
“These three New York factories are under close review and an announcement about their future will be communicated in the next week or so,” said Kraft Heinz spokesman Michael Mullen.
The plants being considered for closure employ more than 900 workers and manufacture Kraft products that include Cool Whip, Lunchables, mozzarella, string, and ricotta cheese, and sour cream.
