Hosokawa Micron to Hold Course on Powder Mixing

Hosokawa Micron Powder Systems is holding a two-day course on the principals and techniques of mixing free flowing or cohesive powders in Amsterdam, the Netherlands on May 25 and 26.

Intended for professionals in managerial, operational, and supervisory positions, with an interest in blended powder R&D and production technology. The information taught will benefit those working in industrial applications like powder metallurgy, food, pigments, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, propellants, ceramics, plastics, and fertilizers.

Professor Norman Harnby, of the UK-based University of Bradford School of Engineering is the course director. Prof. Harnby, a fellow of the Institution of Chemical Engineers (UK), has been engaged in powder mixing research for four decades and co-authored a book on the subject.
