Heumann Environmental appoints Mallard, CAT

Heumann Environmental Co., which custom designs and manufactures specialized separation equipment for industrial processing and pollution control applications, has hired technical sales agents to represent its products and services in Michigan and Ohio.

The firms are Mallard Equipment Sales, based in Ann Arbor, MI, and CAT Technologies LLC, of Cleveland.

"We are excited to work with these new partners to bring pollution control, dust collection and industrial processing solutions to their manufacturing and industrial customers," said Bill Heumann, CEO of Heumann Environmental Co. (HEC).

CAT Technologies LLC represents Heumann Environmental in Northern Ohio. A leader in the air pollution control and energy process equipment industry, CAT Technologies has more than 30 years of experience meeting customer needs through careful evaluations, dependable engineering, knowledge and integration of state-of-the-art technology. It provides support for air pollution control, dust collection, filtration support, power plant equipment, gas and oil specialty products, geotechnical instruments, wireless communications, and other applications.

"I've worked with Bill since the early 1980s and we're excited to join forces with Heumann Environmental to supply processing solutions to the chemical, pharmaceutical and refinery industries," said Domenick Catanese, the owner of CAT Technologies.

Mallard Equipment Sales represents HEC in the state of Michigan. Since 1985, Mallard Equipment has solved bulk material handling and processing problems for customers, offering equipment used to blend, convey, dry, cool, crush, screen, sample, weigh, shred, pulverize, process, and package materials for a number of manufacturers.

Based in Louisville, HEC provides engineering consulting services as well as the design and manufacture of industrial particulate separation equipment known as high-efficiency cyclones. Cyclones separate microscopic particles from gas streams and are used to improve the performance of dust collection, pollution control, ventilation, and product recovery systems. The equipment is integral to a variety of sectors, including the petrochemical, pharmaceutical, ethanol, petroleum, forest products, and utility industries.

Heumann, an industry expert and patent holder, formed HEC in 2011 to be a valued technical partner and resource to solve the most vexing and complex issues involving industrial processes. He has provided interactive lectures on cyclone technology to American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) chapters, and is slated to appear at San Francisco, Seattle and New York ASME chapters in November.
