Hershey's Announces New Executive Team Appointments

Snacks and chocolate maker The Hershey Company recently named four new members of the firm’s executive team that will report to the its president and chief executive officer Michelle Buck when the roles become effective. 

Steve Voskuil is slated to come on board at Hershey on May 13 to serve as its chief financial officer, replacing Patricia Little as she retires. Previously serving as chief financial officer of medical device company Avanos Medical, Voskuil will head Hershey’s global finance organization and be responsible for fostering top- and bottom-line growth for the company. 

Hershey’s vice president and general manager of Greater China, Rohit Grover, was promoted to president, international. Assuming his new role on June 1, Grover will head up the snack firm’s international business, including scale markets, focused emerging markets, and export priorities. In his most recent position, he assisted in restructuring the portfolio and operating model of Hershey’s business in China. Grover will replace Steven Schiller. 

Terry O’Day was named senior vice president and the company’s Chief Technology and Data Officer. On June 1, he will begin managing Hershey’s end-to-end technology and data strategy. The role of Chief Supply Chain Officer will be filled by Jason Reiman, a 20-year veteran of Hershey who previously worked as vice president, supply chain operations. During his tenure, he has worked in a variety of manufacturing, engineering, supply chain planning, and logistics positions in Hershey’s U.S. and international businesses. Reiman’s new role also becomes effective on June 1.

“These appointments are testament to Hershey’s internal succession planning and its ability to attract deeply experienced talent and expertise from outside the company,” Buck said in a company press release. “As Hershey advances its vision of becoming an innovative snacking powerhouse, these executive changes bring business continuity, exceptional leadership, operational excellence, and strategic experiences and perspectives to take our business to the next level.”
