Eduard Dirksen Joins Vecoplan

Vecoplan LLC, a worldwide leader in technologies for the recycling of waste streams, and the processing of waste or biomass to produce alternative fuels and energy, recently announced a major ramp-up of manufacturing capabilities at its High Point, NC facility. As part of the initial stage of this process, Eduard Dirksen has joined Vecoplan LLC as a senior manufacturing engineer.

Transferred from Vecoplan AG, in Bad Marienberg Germany, Dirksen’s new responsibilities will include overseeing the manufacturing cycle of products, serving as an interface between the production and procurement departments with respect to the purchase of materials and manufacturing schedules, auditing manufacturing capacities, and overseeing product specifications. He will also supervise the installation and start-up of new machinery and lean production cells being added to Vecoplan LLC’s facility.

Prior to his position as assistant to the management at Vecoplan AG, Dirksen served an internship at the BMW AG plant in Leipig Germany, where he completed his Diploma Thesis in their department of “Planning and Technology Control”. He also earned a BAE (Business Administration and Engineering) degree from the University of Applied Sciences, Munster DE.
