Bastian Solutions, a global material handling systems integrator, is expanding its foothold in the European market with the opening of a new European office and the incorporation of Bastian Solutions Europe, the company announced Thursday.
Guillermo Albaladejo, international business director at Bastian Solutions, is leading the expansion. Bastian’s new office will help the company lead business development, engineering, and support for projects in western and eastern Europe.
“We realize the value of the European market, possibly one of the most automated spaces in the world. Although Europe has an ample amount of technology suppliers, there is a void when it comes to flexible, true integrators, as opposed to manufacturers,” Albaladejo said. “Our mission is to provide integrated systems with various technologies that fit the exact need of the client without the restrictions of a single catalogue of products. With that flexibility, we can compete in a range of projects – small, medium, or large.”
The new office is already supporting existing customers and accepting requests for proposals. Bastian Solutions said that it has a base of suppliers available to serve the United Kingdom and the rest of Europe.
