A devastating fire at a Tyson Foods meat-processing plant in Holcomb, KS Friday night left more than 3800 employees out of work, as well as significant damage to the facility.
A Tyson spokesman said the plant will remain closed indefinitely and that the employees will receive “some guaranteed pay.”
Depending on how long the plant is closed, cattle may have to be moved to another facility.
The cause of the fire was unknown.
