Vortex Valves Europe, a global engineering and manufacturing company with a technical focus on dry bulk solid valve solutions, has appointed Jonathan Kerr, of JK Process Equipment, as its new technical sales representative for the Southern United Kingdom. Kerr has more than 15 years experience in the dry bulk solids handling market previously working with Braby Storage Silos, Guttridge Conveyors, and Cuccolini Vibratory Screens.
“Jonathan brings a vast range of dry material handling experience to the Vortex team,” comments Travis Young, Vortex’s vice president of global business development. “His past work in silo design, pneumatic transport, and conveying will be of great benefit to our Southern client base.”
JK Process Equipment will develop and increase Vortex’s customer base in the Midlands and Southern UK while focusing on customer satisfaction and application specific product selection.
In addition to Vortex’s solutions-driven valve products, Kerr also represents Rotex, a renowned manufacturer of process screening equipment for dry materials. “The synergies between the Vortex and Rotex product ranges make a great match and I’m looking forward to working with the Vortex team,” says Kerr.
