ACS Valves, a manufacturer of rotary airlocks, feeders, and valves, has acquired Drummond Manufacturing Inc. (DMI), effective October 3, 2022.

A full-service CNC manufacturing facility, DMI has a range of modern equipment and a team of technical experts. With both companies headquartered in Caledonia, ON, Canada, the acquisition enables ACS Valves to expand its manufacturing capabilities and serve its growing customer base.

“The acquisition of DMI is to assist ACS Valves in its growth, increase efficiencies, and shorten lead times,” said Megan Thompson, president and COO at ACS Valves. “The DMI staff is remaining on board and brings us a lot of talented people. Also, DMI gives ACS the ability and space to grow further on the manufacturing side, with the purchase of new machinery.”

As DMI works to fulfill any outstanding customer orders, it will transition to machining only ACS Valves parts and components.
