93795.tifPowder & Liquid  Delivery System
The Solidquid system can convey dry bulk materials to a wet process. Material is discharged from a bulk bag unloader frame into a feeder, which volumetrically or gravimetrically measures it into a solids eductor. Motive process liquid supplied to the eductor inlet creates a vacuum at the solids inlet, pulling the dry material into suspension and conveys it to a storage or mix tank. Introducing solids into a liquid can prevent clumping, eliminate dusting, and reduce mix time and energy consumption.  Hapman, Kalamazoo, MI  800-427-6260 www.hapman.com

93792.tifHeavy-Duty Vibratory Feeders
These heavy-duty vibratory feeders are available in nine models with capacities to 850 tn/hr. Overhead drives, multiple drive arrangements, and dust covers are offered, dependent upon your requirements and can be arranged for either base or suspension mounting. The feeders require minimal maintenance with no moving parts such as shafts, cams, or bearings, eliminating the need for lubrication. The HDC Series feeders are designed to handle heavier powders and dry bulk solids. They are rated for Class 2, Div. 1, Groups F & G hazardous applications. HVF mechanical feeders are low-profile feeders that move high volumes of bulk material. The straightforward design incorporates a three-phase motor connected by belt to the variable-pitch sheave which drives the eccentric shaft.  Eriez, Erie, PA 888-300-3743  www.eriez.com

u2454_93583.jpgCustomized Conveyor Belts
A variety of conveyor belt designs and styles are engineered and custom manufactured to meet exact customer material handling requirements in moving product. The types of customized conveyor belts available include flat slider-bed, incline, cleated, troughed belts, and a variety of others. Styles vary from flat to flighted with inclines up to 90º. Belt conveyors are used in a variety of food, chemical, and industrial applications. Food applications include snack and frozen foods, vegetables, fruits, confectionary, and granules. Industrial applications include petrochemical, catalyst, fertilizer, and others.  Gough Econ, Charlotte, NC  800-264-6844 www.goughecon.com

R93581.tifecirculating Spreader-Feeder
The recirculating spreader-feeder evenly distributes powder and bulk coatings onto food products as they pass between the unit’s longitudinal discharge hopper and its lower collection hopper. The mobile unit is positioned so a wire conveyor belt with items to be coated passes above the unit’s lower collection hopper, as a uniform curtain of the coating material descends from the upper discharge hopper. A small-diameter rotating agitator promotes uniform discharge through an adjustable screen that spans a gap along the hopper bottom. Flexicon Corp., Bethlehem, PA  888-353-9426 www.flexicon.com

F93580.tifail-Safe Bin Level Indicator
The Model RH/RHX rotary paddle bin level indicator is now provided with a fail-safe switch output to provide protection for your process in the event of a failure of the sensor power supply. This means the sensor’s relay output changes into the alarm state, warning of a condition requiring attention. Features of the unit include a DPDT relay output, high-intensity LEDs, four bearings for smooth shaft rotation, automatic motor shutoff when material is present, food grade materials of construction, and a 2-position selector switch for either high- or low-level Fail-Safe  operation. BlueLevel Technologies,  Peru, IL 888-262-2662  www.blueleveltechnologies.com

D93589.tifense-Phase Pneumatic Conveying System
The Dense Flow System differs from many of its competitors with the absence of air boosters along the pipeline. This system is able to achieve equal or greater results in many instances without the use of boosters. Advantages to not having boosters include lower air consumption, lower installation costs, less maintenance, less “wear and tear” on the system, and less spare parts inventory. J.D.B. C93595.tifontinuous Loss-In-Weight Feeding System
The AccuMeter series continuous loss-in-weight feeding system allows most pellets, regrind, powders, and liquids to be metered into the process, even at very low levels (>50 g/hr). This system will improve overall product quality and reduce material usage caused by over-feeding, resulting in reduced product costs. The system features a modular, compact design that provides complete flexibility for changes in your process. Pellets, micro-pellets, powders, liquids, and regrind are all accurately metered, while twin-screw feeders and special agitators are also available for non free-flowing materials. Self-calibration eliminates the need to take manual weight samples or calibrations.  Colortronic North America Inc., Flint, MI 810-720-7300  www.colortronicna.com

Silo Arch Breaker
The patented silo arch breaker features a vertical spindle situated within the silo cone and is fitted with flexible blades to ensure the discharge of dry solid materials from silos. It prevents the bulk material from jamming, bridging, compacting, or ratholing caused by vibration or fluidization systems. The silo unloader not only efficiently discharges dry solids from bins and containers, but it integrates 1 to 4 volumetric screw feeders that can easily be interconnected to simplify conveying process. The combination of two feeders into one screw conveyor, pre-mix two (or more) different chemicals and reduce the processing time. Each screw feeder is totally independent and can feed up to 15,000 lb/hr with different length and throughput variations. Sodimate Inc., Chicago, IL 773-665-8800 www.sodimate-inc.com
