The Sulphur Institute Launches Sulphur World Symposium 2010 Web Site

The Sulphur Institute (TSI) has launched a new Web site, www.sulphurinstitute.org/symposium10/index.cfm, devoted to its upcoming Sulphur World Symposium 2010, scheduled for April 12-15, 2010 in Doha, Qatar. The site will provide continuous updates on the symposium program, the growing list of companies attending, as well as in-depth details for planning and registration.

“TSI has seen its annual symposium grow dramatically in attendance in the last three years,” said Catherine Randazzo, president and CEO. “We have offered excellent speakers--all experts in their disciplines--who have highlighted developments set to impact the sulfur and allied industries.”

The Sulphur Institute’s Sulphur World Symposium has grown to over 200 delegates from more than 30 countries. “We are returning to the Arab Gulf, one if not, the most rapidly growing areas in sulfur production and home to the new Ma’aden phosphate complex, the site of significant new sulfur consumption,” Randazzo added.

Sulphur World Symposium 2010 will include a trip to Ras Laffan Industrial City, a special sulfur educational seminar, a golf tournament, networking receptions, local sightseeing, and special events surrounding TSI’s 50th year of service to the sulfur industry. The event will be held at the Ritz-Carlton Doha offering a variety of opportunities for business meetings.

Founded in 1960, The Sulphur Institute is an international non-profit industry association representing companies engaged in producing, buying, selling, handling, transporting, or adding value to sulfur anywhere in the world. Members are based in Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and North America.
