113645.tifHigh-Capacity Screener
The standard unit size of this high-capacity screener is 5 ft wide by 12 ft long, with custom sizes available to meet all output requirements and project budgets. The sand screen imparts a vertical, bouncing motion to the material that is more efficient than the gyroscopic, rocking motion used by other screens. The unit comes with a choice of three different brute force drive types to match individual applications: single shaft elliptical drive; dual shaft linear motion drive; and twin canned motor style drive. These drives are up to 30% more efficient than gyroscopic motion drive types. Smico, Oklahoma City, OK 405-946-1461 www.smico.com

Insulated, Quick-Clean Centrifugal Screener
This insulated, quick-clean Centri-Sifter high capacity centrifugal screener features an insulated jacket that maintains the temperature of hot or cold materials being sifted, while keeping the machine’s exterior skin closer to room temperature for personnel safety. It also offers a three-bearing shaft that cantilevers for rapid removal of internal components. External roller bearings are located at the motor end of the shaft and on a sliding cover at the discharge end for maximum support and vibration-free operation. When the end cover is slid open, the shaft becomes a cantilever supported by a third externally-mounted roller bearing located between the motor-end bearing and material feed point, allowing internal components to slide freely from the opposite shaft end. 113647.tifGyratory Reciprocating Screeners
This full line of Gyratory Reciprocating Screeners is designed to accurately separate dry materials at high-production rates. Installed in thousands of locations worldwide, and operating in a wide range of industries, they provide unparalleled performance, ease of operation, and durability. These self-contained production screening machines utilize a gyratory-reciprocating motion and a positive screen mesh cleaning system that provide highly accurate separations and greater product yields at higher production rates. The units impart two separate, distinct screening actions to maximize screening efficiency. The gyratory-reciprocating motion of the near-horizontal screen surface gives undersize material the maximum opportunity to pass through the mesh openings without the loss of near-size material. Aggressive mesh cleaning balls continuously tap the surface, preventing blinding and further aiding stratification, allowing undersize particles to quickly pass through the screen. Extremely Fine Stainless Steel Screens
Fine MicroEtch stainless steel screens are manufactured using photoetching technology. Typical applications are particle separation and sizing, hydraulic valve screens, fuel filters, laser light filters, and extruding screens. A standard line of screens with holes in a 60° or 90° pattern are available with a maximum guaranteed perforated area of 18 x 21 in. Other sizes and custom shapes are available. Photoetching enables designers to specify straight holes or tapered holes. These screens feature a tighter tolerance on hole sizes and greater dimensional stability than woven wire mesh, making them ideal in applications requiring frequent cleaning or in devices with mechanical contact. 113649.tifRugged Separator
The MX separator includes features to increase safety, provide a stronger construction, and allow for a more sanitary process. The totally enclosed weight guard prevents “reach-in” injuries, complying with CE Standards. Making use of the appropriate motor, the MX also complies with ATEX Standards. Angled support springs minimize aggressive vibration that typically occurs during shutdown of the machine. The rugged construction of the MX utilizes conical construction, rather than flat plates, creating a more rigid geometric structure. The open-base construction allows for cleaning underneath the unit, preventing dirt and product build-up. Additionally, the MX base design eliminates all gussets and external crevices where product can become trapped while allowing for total external polishing of the machine. Vibratory Screeners
The SXE line of vibratory screeners is used for separation of problematic wet and dry materials. Main applications include safety screening and sizing classification of difficult-to-screen materials, typically in the range between 20 and 500 microns. The screeners have single- or double-deck design and come in 2-, 3-, and 4-ft diam. They operate in multi-frequency vibratory-impact modes. They provide uninterrupted self cleaning of the meshes, fluidization of powder, and de-agglomeration of powder clusters. It results in higher screening capacity, better separation, and more undersize yield, especially when compared to traditional and ultrasonic screeners. 113651.tifMechanical Screening Conveyors
These mechanical screeners are ideal for screening applications in the food or other sanitary markets. They are light- to medium-duty, ideal for food products such as vegetables, marshmallows, meat, rice, and potato flakes, as well as pharmaceuticals. Custom sizes are available, with low frequency and high amplitude. Sizes range from 4 to more than 60 sq ft. They can be designed with an enclosed tray, quick-removal screens, low-profile, and a variety of other options. Models over 25 ft can be designed for specific application needs. 113652.jpgCircular Unitized Gyratory Screen
The Vibroscreen is a circular unitized gyratory screen with three-component multi-plane mechanical vibration. The motion is through a motor with a double extended shaft, fitted at both ends with eccentric weights. The whole drive assembly is mounted on a circular base by rugged springs that allow the unit to vibrate freely, and at the same time, the springs prevent transmitted vibration from reaching the floor area on which the machine stands. Screens can be mounted one on top of the other within the screening assembly. The unit is suitable for virtually any type of screening operation. 113653.tifFive-Deck Tumbling Machine
This five-deck tumbling machine screens six different separate fractions while achieving high yields. Equipped with a pneumatic deck lifting option, the deck is readily mounted by welding or with bolts and nuts. It includes a pneumatic control for lifting and lowering and is operated by 6 bar compressed air (90 psi). This simple control allows easy access to the top deck and ball tray. The lower screens, brushes, and and/or air knives are simple to reach by removing the R clips. Screen removal can be completed by one individual. Vibratory Screener with Ball Tray Deck
The single-deck EMBS vibratory screener removes tramp from dry material or cement smaller than 150 micron (100 mesh) at a rate of 3 1/2 tn/hr. This electromechanical ball tray deck screener boasts twin 1800-RPM rotary electric vibrator drives mounted below the deck, spring hangers for cable suspension mounting, and a 12-in. impact plate to spread the feed to its 24-in.-wide by 48-in.-long effective screen deck with 600 micron (30 mesh) wire cloth. Fines that pass through its screen are collected and discharged from a 6-in.-diam outlet, while a bolt-on enclosed over chute with 6-in.-wide side outlet guides and discharges tramp material. Features include a ball tray deck for reduced blinding or plugging of the screen openings, as well as a hinged dust cover with quick clamps, circular inlet, and dust vent.
