Salvatore Guccione Elected to Aceto Corp. Board of Directors

Aceto Corp., a global leader in the sourcing, quality assurance, regulatory support, marketing, and distribution of pharmaceuticals, nutraceuticals, specialty chemicals, and crop protection products, has announced that Salvatore Guccione has been elected to the Company's Board of Directors.

"We are pleased to have Sal become a member of our Board of Directors,” said Albert Eilender, chairman and CEO of Aceto. “With almost 25 years of investing and operating experience in the specialty chemicals and healthcare industries, we believe Sal will prove to be a valuable addition to our Board."

Guccione currently serves as an operating partner at Arsenal Capital Partners, a private equity investment firm based in New York. As operating partner, he is responsible for setting the strategy for, and executing upon, strategic acquisitions in the specialty chemicals and pharmaceutical product or service sectors.

Guccione has spent most of his 25 years in senior level management positions with three U.S.-based, international manufacturing and service companies: WIL Research Laboratories, Cambrex Corp., and International Specialty Products. He has been instrumental in planning, building, and managing several specialty chemical and pharmaceutical/FDA-regulated businesses in active pharmaceutical ingredients, pharmaceutical research services, and biotechnology products/services. Guccione holds a Bachelor degree in Chemical Engineering from Lehigh University and an MBA in Finance from New York University's Stern School of Business.
