E&G Associates introduces this new industrial solids handling workshop at its Summer Powder School, June 20-24, 2011, in Nashville, TN. Powder Flow II is a companion course to Powder Flow I, dealing with industrial applications of solids flow principles. Concepts are reinforced through attendee worked examples involving bin design to prevent arching/ratholing, existing hardware retrofits to improve handling, chute and transfer layout to prevent holdup, feeder design examples, minimizing segregation and maintaining mix quality through manufacturing changes, and solids conveying considerations.
The workshop is held at the Summer Powder School at Evins Mill, a historic inn and mill nestled among the towering bluffs of the Cumberland Plateau just outside Nashville.
