The Haver Tyler CPA 2-1 is a photo-optical particle size and shape analyzer that is designed for laboratory use for measuring dry, free-flowing, and non-agglomerating particles. What typically takes a test sieve and shaker analysis to complete in 15 to 20 minutes, this unit performs in an average of 3 to 5 minutes. Also, in contrast to a traditional test-sieving process that “measures” particles by calculating the percentage of a selected standard size of a representative sample, the CPA 2-1 accurately counts and measures each individual particle of a representative material sample in real time. It is equipped with user-friendly, high-technology software that correlates the raw particle count data curve to the sieving distribution curve for comparison.
