Abresist Corp. has announced that its parent company, Kalenborn Kalprotect GmbH & Co. KG, has now become the holding company Kalenborn International GmbH & Co. KG.
The oldest of 12 subsidiaries of Kalenborn International, Abresist Corp. manufactures and installs a wide range of abrasion-resistant protective linings utilizing mineral and ceramic materials for industrial material-handling applications. Abresist currently employs 48 people and is located 40 miles west of Fort Wayne, Indiana, with sales offices throughout the U.S., Canada, and Mexico, and has a Quebec-based subsidiary, Canada Kalprotect, which was acquired in 2002.
Headquarters for Kalenborn International will remain in Vettelschoss, Germany. IN addition to the new name for the holding company, a new Kalenborn Kalprotect GmbH & Co. KG was formed to continue business activities under this name as a subsidiary of Kalenborn International.
