NDC Infrared Engineering Acquires IRM Group SA

NDC Infrared Engineering (Irwindale, CA), a leading manufacturer of web gauging equipment for the plastics, rubber, nonwoven, and extrusion coated businesses, has acquired the IRM Group (Alleur, Belgium), a leading manufacturer of high-technology measuring systems for the metals industries.

"Now, with this investment, combined with NDC's global measurement and control reputation, we look forward to expanding and developing IRM's market position and to lead NDC into the metals business."

IRM will become aligned within NDC Infrared Engineering worldwide. The IRM Group is headquartered near Liege, Belgium and employs about 70 people providing a comprehensive range of products to test the flatness, width, thickness, edge profile, and coatings of metals.

NDC Infrared Engineering's headquarters are in Irwindale, CA. The company currently employs more than 200 people. A global sales and service network represents the America's, EMEA, China, Japan, and AP. In addition, more than 60 local distribution partners ensure that NDC Infrared products are supported around the world.
