This Q-03 laboratory-sized circulation grinding mill features a special-sized processing tank, a mechanical shaft seal, and a completely explosion-proof system with no air motors, all on a customized frame. The design allows for a high circulation pumping rate that results in narrow particle-size distribution and temperature control. The unit utilizes a separate holding tank that is typically 10 times the size of the attritor grinding tank. During the circulation process, the material makes multiple passes through the grinding chamber until the desired particle size is achieved. Each pass takes only about 20 seconds.
