Meyer & Sons Announces New President

Wm. W. Meyer & Sons Inc., a world leader in the manufacture of dry bulk material processing equipment, pneumatic conveyors, dust collectors, insulation blowing machines, and vacuum collection systems, has announced the promotion of Greg Buric from general manager to president of the company.

Buric has been with Meyer & Sons since 1981 and has worked in various departments throughout his 30-year career. From 2002-2006, he ran the Service and Repair Center in the company’s Lake Villa location and in 2006, he was promoted to general manager of Wm. W. Meyer & Sons Inc.

Buric was instrumental in the company’s move in 2007 to the newly constructed state-of-the-art location in Libertyville, IL from the original home for over 60 years in Skokie, IL. This 80,000-sq-ft-plant made it possible for all operations to take place under one roof.

Buric’s promotion comes with great support and enthusiasm from Wm. W. Meyer, III, the company’s past president and current chief executive officer. “I know Greg will remain a thoughtful and compassionate leader. His insight, sound judgment, and proven leadership are exactly what our company needs today,” said Wm. W. Meyer, III.

Wm. W. Meyer, III will now be turning his focus towards long-term business development, customer/vendor relations, and product design and development.
