Metso has acquired Bulk Equipment Systems Technology Inc. (B.E.S.T. Inc.), a leading technology and process systems provider in North America, located in Brunswick, OH. The company was transferred to Metso on March 30.
B.E.S.T. Inc. manufactures a diversified line of custom bulk-handling equipment and provides a complete line of air and electric vibrators. For over 25 years, the company has served a variety of dry processing industries from chemical to food to recycling. Its precision-engineered equipment, turn-key systems, and controls are applied in a range of bulk process handling applications.
Products manufactured in its state-of-the-art facility include vibratory feeders, screeners, conveyors, tables, bulk bag loaders and unloaders, single- and twin-screw feeders, and complete weighing systems for filling drums, cartons, and boxes. In-plant test facilities ensure successful integration of controls with bulk-handling equipment prior to shipment.
