Rajesh Mendiratta has been appointed manager of engineering for River Consulting’s New Orleans office. River, which originated in New Orleans in 1981, serves local, national, and international clients with multidiscipline engineering, consulting, and project management services.
In his new role, Mendiratta will lead engineering activities for the office utilizing 15 years of engineering and project management experience, from feasibility studies to construction management.
Mendiratta is a published author with expertise in material handling design and supply, engineering management, and project scope and definition. He has served as a project manager, lead mechanical engineer, and commodity engineer for projects in a variety of industries, including oil and gas, power generation, bulk material handling, and ports and maritime.
Mendiratta has a Master’s degree in Mechanical Equipment Design from ITT Delhi and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from REC Kurukshetra. He is a certified Project Management Professional.
