u1191_102172.jpgOpen-Chute Box Dumper
This open-chute box dumper offers a safe, low-cost method of discharging bulk solid materials from boxes, totes, and other containers when dust containment is not a requirement. The dumper accommodates gaylords and other boxes from 36 to 48 in. on a side and 39 to 44 in. overall height. The box-container lift assembly is tipped hydraulically until material discharges from the container onto a smooth, flat chute that allows unobstructed discharge of free-flowing materials, as well as non-free-flowing products containing large agglomerates into receiving vessels. Twin hydraulic cylinders pivot the platform-chute assembly, with the container secured from sliding by transverse sidewall braces, to discharge angles of 45 or 60 degrees beyond horizontal, including a motion-dampening feature at the termination of container rotation. The dumper is available with stainless steel material contact surfaces (shown), in carbon steel with durable industrial coatings, or in all-stainless construction to industrial and sanitary standards. Flexicon Corp., Bethlehem, PA 888-353-9426 www.flexicon.com

Bulk Forklift Container with Hinged Panel
The P-433 Ship Shape bulk container is now available with an optional hinged panel that opens to invite visual and ergonomic access to goods. Minimizing bending and reaching inside the rugged, nearly 4-ft-tall container, the P-433 with the hinged panel permits the high-volume containers to replace smaller containers, bins, and totes in order picking, assembly, and other operations for improved efficiency while supporting ergonomic initiatives. Originally developed for the company’s P-333 model shipping container, the P-433 with the hinged panel may be opened while the container is either uncovered or covered and sealed shut without tools when readying for lifting and transportation. Ideal for handling loose, granular, and powdered dry products, the container is rotationally molded in a single piece of 100% weatherproof polyethylene for the strength and rigidity to safely unitize payloads of up to 700 lb on a standard 44 x 44 in. footprint with four-way lift access. The palletless, new bulk container stacks when covered and nests when empty and is available in a choice of 16 standard colors, as well as custom colors. Meese Orbitron Dunne Co., Ashtabula, OH 800-829-4535 www.shipshapecontainers.com

u11a0_102174.jpgWireless Crane Control System
The LRC-M1 wireless control system for EOT cranes provides safety and reliability for demanding industrial applications. The unit can control up to four motions with two ergonomic, multi-axis joystick controllers. The trolley/hoist selector, two aux push buttons, and toggles are mounted on an impact-resistant Lexan EXL housing. EOT cranes currently using remote controls can easily be standardized to the LRC-M1 system, saving time and money. In addition, as part of the CattronControl product series, the LRC-M1 wireless system uses the company’s external TransKey RFID configuration for efficient operations, allowing facilities to minimize spares and transfer keys to other controllers which increases safety and flexibility and streamlines workflow. Cattron Group International, Sharpsville, PA  724-962-3571 www.cattrongroup.com
