Kowske Appointed President of Laser Cladding Services Ltd.

Gremada Industries Inc. has announced it has tapped its vice president of sales and marketing, James P. Kowske, to serve as the president of subsidiary, Laser Cladding Services Ltd. (LCS). In addition to the new appointment, Kowske will continue in his role as the vice president of Gremada Industries Inc.

Prior to this appointment, Kowske served as Gremada and LCS’ vice president of sales and marketing where he was responsible for overseeing marketing, product, and channel development, as well as strategic planning.
     
Kowske has 35 years of experience in the manufacturing industry and has held several senior management roles for Blackmer, a Dover Company, Vickers Inc., Ace Controls, and Heritage Hydraulics. Kowske holds a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing from Lewis University located in Lockport, Illinois and has continuous education in international marketing from the University of Chicago and Thunderbird School of Global Management. He maintains memberships in the American Marketing Association and is an active participant in The Remanufacturing Institute.
     
“LCS’ future is extremely bright,” said Kowske. “We continue to push the envelope with the use of lasers for corrosion and wear protection, thereby extending the lifecycle of critical parts used in a variety of processing industries.”
     
Kowske added that the next chapter has opened for LCS where the company will focus on offering new and ground-breaking programs that will set new industry standards. LCS also plans to pursue international growth and acquisition through the company’s platform of providing laser technology for protective coatings in the energy industry as well as various process industries.
