Key Technology Appoints Steve Johnson as Product Marketing Manager

Key Technology has announced the appointment of Steve Johnson as product marketing manager for the company’s Process Systems line of products. Johnson is responsible for managing activities that support the development and sales of Key’s Smart Shaker suite of vibratory conveyors, which includes the Iso-Flo and Impulse conveyors. He also manages Key’s sizing and grading systems, as well as fresh-cut processing solutions such as washers and dryers, and other select processing equipment.

“Steve will manage an important group of products from early conceptual stage through the entire product life cycle. He will collaborate with Key’s sales, engineering, marketing, manufacturing, and operational areas to help us identify and pursue new market opportunities and meet customers’ needs worldwide,” noted Randy Unterseher, senior director of marketing at Key Technology. “Steve is ideally suited to take the lead here. He fully understands our technology as well as our customers.” 

Johnson brings more than 20 years of operational leadership and engineering experience, including four years as senior manufacturing engineer with Key Technology, to his new position. Most recently, he was general manager for Gordon Composites. Johnson holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering from Weber State University.
