Key Technology Appoints Louis Vintro as Senior Vice President of Business Development and Global Operations

Key Technology announced the appointment of Louis Vintro as senior vice president of business development and global operations.  Vintro is responsible for planning and managing all aspects of Key’s operations, including business development, in support of the company’s overall strategic objectives to deliver world-class automated inspection, specialized conveying, and product preparation systems to customers.

Vintro will lead Key’s global operations and manufacturing activities.  He will manage the development of new business alliances and future acquisition opportunities and will also work closely with Key’s research and development team to bring new products into production.

“Louis has a proven track record in leading international technology-based capital equipment businesses and expanding those enterprises through partnerships, acquisitions, and new product development,” said David Camp, president and CEO of Key Technology. “With his skill and experience, we are confident that Louis will be a strong addition to Key’s executive management team and help the company grow while continuing to focus on achieving the highest customer satisfaction.”

Vintro brings more than 18 years of business development and operational leadership experience to his position at Key. Most recently, he was vice president and general manager of the Semiconductor Division of ESI Inc. Previously, he was senior director of technical programs for KLA-Tencor Corp. Prior to that, he was global business manager for BOC Edwards Kachina, now Applied Materials Inc. He holds a Ph.D. in physics from Stanford University, an MBA from Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, and a bachelor’s degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

“I’m excited to join Key and help customers ensure the safety of their food products while reducing their operating costs by leveraging our company’s innovative equipment and world-class support network,” said Vintro. “I’m looking forward to helping Key maximize its potential to deliver value-added solutions to customers.”
