Kaeser Announces Performance Verification Program

As a member of the Compressed Air and Gas Institute (CAGI) and a leading proponent of this exciting new program, Kaeser Compressors Inc. has announced the Performance Verification Program.

Kaeser rotary screw compressors with the Sigma Profile airend will now be tested and their published performance confirmed by an independent, third-party laboratory.

While uniform reporting criteria and CAGI datasheets have provided customers with an “apples-to-apples” comparison in the past, this new independent verification program offers an additional level of comfort for end-users who want the best in compressor efficiency. Test results will include operational information such as rated capacity, electrical input power, and, most importantly, specific package performance.

“We’ve encouraged and supported this initiative from the very beginning because it offers our customers clear and unbiased confirmation of our compressor performance,” said Frank Mueller, Executive Vice President of Kaeser Compressors Inc. "Customer trust is important. We stand behind our commitment to provide industry-leading specific package performance and the most energy efficient air systems available on the market today."

Units manufactured by participating companies will be regularly and randomly selected, and tested according to the CAGI/PNEUROP or ISO standards. Participation is voluntary and open to all manufacturers.
