ISO 9001-2008 Certification for Saltillo, Mexico Facility

Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics has announced that its Saltillo, Mexico facility has recently achieved ISO 9001-2008 certification, after having earned ISO 9001-2000 just a year earlier.

“We are proud to have earned this new certification” says Luis Gerardo Palacios, Saltillo site manager. “It validates our efforts in supplying the highest quality products, and assuring our customers that we will seek continuous improvement in everything we do.”

The facility manufactures products for several different business units of Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics, including Chemfab PTFE-coated and Chemlam PTFE-laminated belting. These belting products are used in a wide variety of industries, including food processing, packaging, textiles, floor covering, lamination, polymer processing, and many others. With outstanding chemical, thermal, and mechanical properties, Chemfab and Chemlam brand belting products are reliable non-stick solutions in the most demanding applications.
