IFS and Mettler Toledo to Present Global Food Safety Webinar

Mettler Toledo, continues its partnership with the IFS (International Food Standard), a leading quality assurance and food safety standard, by presenting a jointly sponsored webinar entitled “Meet Global Food Safety Standards and Increase Productivity’.

Consumer food safety concerns and broadening regulatory requirements highlight issues that increasingly bring the food industry to the media’s attention. The introduction of standards such as, IFS, BRC, SQF2000, and FSSC 22000 require food companies throughout the world to make their manufacturing processes transparent and as safe as possible. Stephan Tromp, managing director IFS will highlight the IFS standards including company registrations, training, certification, and audit processes. You’ll also hear from Urs Berli, market manager food, how Mettler Toledo can support you in the areas of traceability, hygienically designed equipment, quality data management, foreign body detection, and equipment qualification and calibration. Following the 45-minute presentation, you will have the opportunity to ask the IFS and Mettler Toledo representatives questions and seek additional resource assistance.
