Hoover Announces New Plant Manager

Hoover Materials Handling Group Inc. has named Bill Wright plant manager of its Houston manufacturing facility. Wright’s responsibilities will include supervision and management of Hoover’s manufacturing facility including production, fabrication, and shipping departments, with emphasis on welding and fabrication procedures.

Wright comes to Hoover from Trinity Industries where he was the plant manager for its Longview, TX facility that manufactured freight and tank cars. Along with approximately 30 years of manufacturing leadership, Wright brings strong management capabilities in manufacturing production, scheduling, safety, inventory/materials management, warehousing, distribution, and capital improvement.

“After spending 17 years building tank railcars that also transport dangerous, flammable, and/or hazardous chemicals, Bill is well aware of the importance of manufacturing a quality product,” said Donald W. Young, CEO of Hoover. “We believe Bill is an excellent addition to the Hoover team and our expanding manufacturing capabilities.”

Hoover Materials Handling Group Inc. manufactures, rents, sells, and services IBCs, container frames, offshore containers, ISO containers, and related equipment for chemical storage and transportation applications.
